On meeting your vessel a safety brief will be given with the hand over procedure ensuring that you are familiar with your vessel. Our local knowledge can be passed on so you can get the most out of the area and offer help with your passage plan to ensure your charter starts off on the right foot.
For Bareboat Charters previous experience is always required and we do need to vet our clients before we can allow yachts to go on charter.
Experience from previous charters, your sailing CV, your logbook, Certificates on Competence and certificates from the RYA are all taken into account. As I’m sure you’ll understand we need to do this to keep our boats in safe hands and good condition for future sailing use, so please do not be offended.
